Inaugural Issue of Global Journal of Cultural Studies
Abstract
We are thrilled to announce that the inaugural issue 2022 of Global Journal of Cultural Studies is now available
[https://lifescienceglobal.com/pms/index.php/GJCS/issue/view/462]! This issue features a diverse range of articles.
They come from three continents—Africa, Asia, and Europe, covering a variety of topics that are sure to attract your
interest. Two of them may need specifically mentioned here, one for its contemporary significance, another for its
unique contribution. The article “Why is Russian Domestic War Propaganda So Effective” provides us with a serious
analysis about the reason why the Russian-Ukrainian War has been actively supported by Russian population and
how the Russian propaganda won its domestic effectiveness in the past months. In the meanwhile, the article
“Asouzu’s Complementarism and Nietzsche’s Perspectivism: Implications for Cross-Cultural Philosophizing”
presents us an inspiring comparison between two philosophers, Asouzu from Africa and Nietzsche from Europe.
The ideas they hold respectively and the comparison itself will help to broaden our intellectual horizon.
